Mark Chan, Chartered Architect BSc(Hons) AADipl PgDip ARB RIBA

Mark Chan is a London/Hong Kong/Mainland China based Architect. Having graduated with 1st Class Honours for his degree in architecture, he was awarded a scholarship and has completed his RIBA Part II at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He completed his RIBA Part III in 2011 with Merit and is registered with the Architects Registration Board and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

His undergraduate project, Visual Arts Bridge, was nominated for the RIBA Bronze Award, and was awarded the Stride Treglown Award for Best Design. Mark’s design projects at the AA have been widely published and exhibited worldwide, and he was named 50 best design graduates by Blueprint Magazine. His thesis project, Re-Envisioning Los Angeles, was nominated for the Foster & Partners Award for Sustainable Infrastructure.

Mark has worked for renowned architectural practices including HCLA, Rogers Stirk Harbour & Partners and Herzog & de Meuron, playing an important role in the design and development of projects of different scales both in the UK and abroad.
